It’s Easter Sunday and springtime is officially here so I broke out this pair of white Levi’s Curves jeans acquired from my sister-in-law’s sister-in-law last year. She had purchased them online and they turned out to be too small for her, but fit me quite nicely. Yay!
Jeans: Gift. Levi’s “Slightly Curvy”
Top: $5 from Old Navy
Shoes: “Felicia” espadrille wedges by Tommy Hilfiger
Scarf: From Nordstrom Rack?
I’m not one for wearing that much green, so this new striped top works really well for a subtle hint for St Patrick’s Day. I love how my manly new watch is working out too!
The three beauties (ahem!) at at wedding banquet who could not resist taking photos in the restroom.
All of whom wore camel-coloured shoes.
My latest toy for listening AND talking on the phone. The Aerial 7 Pheonix headset in grey and metallic green.
(yes, yes, it was a slow news day at work today… Is it that obvious?)
Experimented with this new eyeliner which I bought from Korea..
This green eyeliner was actually a pleasant mistake… I had wanted to get a blue eyeliner and had paid for the product without checking. It was only when I got back to Singapore that I realised that the colour was wrong. But all’s too late! Since then, I procrastinated in opening it. I finally decided to experiment on the colour after about 6 months and was super pleased with the effect 🙂
Eye make-up details: Beige eyeshadow base by Christian Dior, Green eyeliner by CLIO (Korean brand), Metallic Brown eye shadow by Shu Uemura, Virtuose Precious Cells mascara by Lancome.
I’m packing for my trip to Southeast Asia, and the husband pointed out that I may be slightly obsessed with green.
Bought a pair of green snakeskin flats and paired it with my trusty green Kate Spade tote. Happy Green Monday folks!
A slightly new spin on old staples: I added a new belt (which came with a denim dress) to my clearance $5 Old Navy top.
Denim skirt: Ralph Lauren ($39)
Purse: Calvin Klein
…. and I was ready for an Ikea adventure!
My ASOS purchases finally arrived from the UK.. wheeeee!! Wore one of the two new dresses out yesterday.. have a look!
River Island summer dress in mint green. And I just love the two huge pockets in the front, perfect for storing tickets, receipts etc. Yesterday’s outfit was paired with my own white woven belt and peep-toe shoes. 🙂
but with the right shot of colour…
dressing for flights take a bit of time and effort.
yes, people, the pink umbrella, the lime green comfy cotton racerback and the skinny jeans were no accident.
we started with RESEARCH…
we IMAGINED what the sky would look like…
we created the COLOURS for that shoot…
and then, we JUMPED!
(credit goes to longtime friend Sujoy Sen and his partner in crime, Richard Jacobson, for their work behind the lens, and for Richard’s wife, Yvonne, for nudging me to do the shoot.)
Today’s a ‘personal grooming’ day, so I had to make considerations for a comfortable & practical outfit that would allow access to the necessary body parts.
Managed to throw this together – albeit with a belt (free, came with a top I purchased) that’s not properly aligned – for full functionality. Sleeveless top (Old Navy clearance, $5) and a maxi skirt ($18-ish at TJ Maxx last year) that happens to be pouffed up thanks to a passing gust. Gotta love a breezy, comfy outfit on a hot summer’s day!
