Last week I came across tank tops at my nearby Gap Factory store for $5.99 so I purchased two of two of them. With my “Gap Eco Tote discount” which gave me an additional 10% off, it worked out to just $5.50 a piece!
Today I went back there to pick up more, so now I have 4 varietals of stripes, heather gray, and black.
Just in time for this horrible SoCal weather….
Of course, after I discovered the cuffed jeans look yesterday evening, I decided to replicate it again today! Too easy for the lazy…
Blue striped camisole: Forever21
Blue cardigan: Gap Outlet
Blue jeans: Levi’s
Wedges: Calvin Klein
I popped into a Gap Outlet store today and chanced upon my favorite “Gap Super Soft” basic long sleeved tees. They were marked $6.99 each, but after a further 30% off AND 10% off because we brought our Gap Eco-tote, each tee was just $4.40 each!
I also purchased these really comfy sweaters with matching enameled buttons. There were a dozen colors and I was almost tempted to buy 5 different colors!
I ended up with Cobalt Blue and White. $13 each after discount, marked down from $39.99.
I’m not one for wearing that much green, so this new striped top works really well for a subtle hint for St Patrick’s Day. I love how my manly new watch is working out too!
The Husband has been pretty conscious about what he wears nowadays, and in a bit to get out of the “t-shirt-and-cargo-shorts” rut, yesterday he tried on some fitted khaki shorts and a casual button-up shirt at the Gap Factory store.
I REALLY like this look on him, and he did too, but he decided that $35 for a shirt – even one that fits him well – was too much money to spend. That said, he did buy the $17 shorts since they were on clearance.
I guess $35 does buy 7 Old Navy tees when they’re on sale….
Ok, I caved. I walked by The Gap factory store today and picked up the same long-sleeved tee in a different color: blue and green!
Sadly it’s $9.99 today, not $7.99. Ah well!
(That’s a mirror, I didn’t buy 2 sets!)
Wearing a H&M striped tee, I purchased a long-sleeved striped tee from The Gap Outlet yesterday. Couldn’t pass it up for $7.99 since it fits so well. Already wore it all day today!
In the last month, The Gap just opened a new outlet store walking distance from my home. Today I finally popped in to look around, especially since I’ve been on the hunt for an affordable peacoat.
Lo and behold, I found this!
$13.99 for a black peacoat, marked down from $89.99, woooo hoooo!
It’s not the most wonderful fit, but I can completely see this coat replacing my Kenneth Cole down jacket that leaves feathers all over.
I LOVE that it has a hood too!
I dated my sister for a girlie outing last Friday and accidentally burned a medium-sized hole in my wallet. What started out as a “chill-out, no agenda, let’s spend the day catching-up, doing girlie things” ended with us feeling totally exhausted. We even had to cab home home because we simply can’t manage the amount of shopping bags on the train.
So… the damage for me includes:
- 2 pairs of boyfriend shorts, in coral red and white, from Gap. Well I have to justify myself…. the discounts offered was 2 pairs of shorts for $115. If I had just gotten 1 pair, I would have to pay $79 which wasn’t worthwhile.
- 1 pair of cargo mini skirt… also from Gap. I got mine in khaki colour and this was almost a “love at first sight” piece. In fact, I picked it out within minutes of entering the store 🙂
- 1 tunic top from Warehouse… sorry I can’t find the picture from Warehouse’s website. All I can say is that the top is in dusty pink! Woohoo!
Obviously my sister did way better than me at burning holes. Maybe someday I’ll invite her to do a guest entry 😛
